First day
Welcome to Bosnia
Arrival in Sarajevo. Accommodation in private rooms in the centre. Possibility for a guided tour.
Dinner in town (not included in the price) and evening in Sarajevo.
Second day
Towards Sarajevo
After breakfast (not included in the price), departure for Kakanj. Visit to the Franciscan monastery and relevant museum in Kraljeva Sutjeska, the oldest of all Bosia and Herzegovina. Cultural hike to Bobovac, the last medieval capipal of the Bosnian Kingdom under King Tomas. The hike lasts one hour through the canyon of Bobovica river. We will hike towards the sentry posts of the town until we get to the remains of the old town which protected the Bosnian kingdom from invaders. Pocket lunch provided for by the organisers. In the afternoon return to Sarajevo and dinner (not included in the price).
Third day
Towards Herzegovina After breakfast (not included), departure for Boracko Jezero, a famous lake close to Konjic. We will be accommodated in Bukovica, a mountain hut that will serve as departure point for rafting and canyoning. With a light rucksack we will start towards Sedlo mountain, which offers an easy hike and that after a short walk it will allow everybody to enjoy a unique view. Pocket lunch and return to Bukovica for dinner.
Fourth day
On the threshold of Bosnian Himalaya We will start from Bukovica and head towards Boracka Draga a V shaped valley all the way up to Crnopolje. Here we will leave our vehicles and start hiking in the meadows and valleys of Prenj, under the Osobac Peak. Pocket lunch. The hike, lasting a few hours aims at reaching Jeserce, traditional bivouacking site and if possible get to the top of Mali Osobac (little Osobac). From here we will return to the Bukovica for dinner.

Fifth day
Diva Grabovica From Bukovica, we will head towards Dreznica, where we will set our camp. From here, with a light rucksack, we will hike in the valley of Diva Grabovica, a unique amphitheatre, a few kilometres off the Sarajevo-Mostar road. The goal of the hike is the bivouac built at the bottom of Cvrsnica mountain, which with its 1300 meters rocks face is one of the highest in all the Balkans. Pocket lunch provided by the organisaton. The hike, easy and doable by everybody and can be combined with more difficult hikes in the area. We will return to Dreznica, where there will be the possibility for a swim in the river waiting for the barbeque in the evening. Alternative: soft canyoning in Mostarska Bjela Bjela canyon offers the possibility of visiting the canyon without technical difficulties. Starting from the bottom, we can visit its lower part and admire this special canyon that makes of Bjela a unique attaction.
Sixth day
Relax in Mostar
From Dreznica, we will visit Mostar (20 km from Dreznica), the Old Bridge and the old centre. From Mostar we will head to Vrelo Bune, the Buna springs. The place is really mystical and for this reason a Dervis Tekkia has been built on this spot, where Dervishes withdraw to meditate. We will visit the Tekkia and have lunch in a typical restaurant nearby. After lunch we will hike for one hour approximately to the old fortress of Stjepan Herceg, medieval ruler of Herzegovina. From the top there is a magnificent view of the surrounding valley. We will return to Dreznica and have dinner in a typical restaurant at the end of the Dreznica canyon.
Seventh Day
Return to Sarajevo and relax. Breakfast and departure to Sarajevo. Free day for souvenirs and shopping. Departure in the afternoon from Sarajevo airport.
